Education/training and qualifications

Relevantdegree or diploma

Healthand Safety / First Aid (or willingness to train)

Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Software, Gardiff, Ticket solve and Sling

Significant experience in a leadership role within atheatre, arts venue, visitor attraction or comparable cultural organisation.

Experience of strategic planning,business development and delivering organisational growth.

Excellent leadership and people management skills

Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.

Experience of budget preparation, forecasting and reporting.

Proven ability to develop partnerships and stakeholder relationships.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ableto communicate effectively with members of the public, staffand all stakeholders

Experience in overseeing websites, digital communications and online sales channels.

Understanding of health and safety, safeguarding and compliance requirements

Experience of using and managing digital systemsrelevant to venue operations including ticketing platforms such as Ticket solve or similar CRM / ticketing systems.

Experience working within acharitable organisation or reporting to trustees.

Knowledge of arts funding,fundraising, sponsorship and grant applications

Experience of audience development and cultural participation initiatives.

Understanding of theatreproduction and technical operations.

Experience of managing licensedpremises and hospitality operations.

Familiarity with CRM systems,digital marketing tools and website content management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to use data to inform decision making.

Committed to and good understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection practice and procedure

Apassion for the arts and community engagement

Ableto carry out routine tasks without close supervision

Ableto identify, prioritise and deal with issues as they occur
