MIG Welder

Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a growing and multi-skilled manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MIG welding and fabrication tasks to produce high-quality components and assemblies and possess strong technical skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure precision and safety in all projects.

Main Responsibilities:

* Operate MIG welding equipment working with mild steel components

* Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes

* Prepare materials by cleaning, measuring, and aligning components prior to welding or assembly

* Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure adherence to safety standards and specifications

* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained

Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment

* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

* Ability to read technical drawings and interpret measurements accurately

* Good numeracy skills

* Pays attention to details

* Safety and Quality Aware

* A reliable and flexible team player

Salary:
Up to £18.00 p/hr DOE + Company Benefits

Hours:

Full time Monday - Thursday 7.00 am - 4.00 pm / Friday 7.00 am - 3.00 pm (Early Finish)

Temporary to Permanent Contract
