• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, and sanding rough areas.
• Clean and wash surfaces to remove dirt, grease, and dust to ensure proper adhesion of paint and finishes.
• Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finish coats.

• Select and mix paints, stains, and varnishes to achieve the desired color and finish.
• Apply paints, stains, and varnishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Ensure smooth and even application of paint and finishes on all surfaces.

• Apply decorative finishes such as stenciling, marbling, and faux finishes to enhance the aesthetic appeal of surfaces.
• Hang wallpaper and other wall coverings with precision and attention to detail.

• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring that all work meets company standards and client expectations.
• Make touch-ups and repairs as necessary to maintain the highest level of workmanship.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Use protective gear and equipment to ensure safety while working.
• Comply with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

• Interact with clients to understand their painting and decorating needs and provide expert recommendations.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize disruption to clients.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in painting and decorating preferred.

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator, with 5 years of experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of painting and decorating techniques, materials, and tools.

• Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment.
• Excellent eye for detail and color.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks.
