Environmental Services Aide – Floor Care – St Mary Campus – Morning Shift 7:00‑15:30 – Full Time

• Maintain VCT floors and carpet floors according to Environmental Services standards.
• Maintain Environmental Services closets and equipment in a clean, aseptic, and orderly manner.
• Assist with cleaning projects and work as part of a team.
• Exercise effective judgment and decision‑making in all duties.
• Ensure personal attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience operating Environmental Service equipment such as automatic scrubber, battery burnisher, electrical burnisher, all-purpose matador, and carpet extractor.
• Knowledge of VCT floor care and carpet floor care.
• Basic understanding of housekeeping, cleaning, and cleaning equipment/supplies.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English and follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed and listen to direction with minimal supervision.

Medium work:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds occasionally or 10 to 25 pounds frequently. Involves walking, standing, and occasional lifting. The role may expose the employee to hazardous medications or waste within a healthcare setting.
