Job Description

As an integral member of the Swiftships team, you will serve as a Scheduler.

In this role, you will lead the process for creating, managing, and monitoring project schedules, ensuring their integrity and timeliness. You will collaborate with project cost accountants to resource load schedules, produce projections, and support financial management tools and reports. Regular schedule reports, projections, and analyses will be provided to project teams, customers, and senior management. You will also prepare ad hoc reports as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the process for project estimates, proposals, contracts, specifications, and drawings to develop project execution strategies.
• Review specifications and contract documents to understand project scope and schedule requirements.
• Lead project team members in PERT planning and schedule development.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and integrate multiple schedules.
• Identify logical relationships and constraints, and propose schedule methodologies.
• Create and manage project schedules using MS Project or similar software.
• Participate in creating Work Breakdown Structures and developing budgets and resource loading.
• Maintain and update multiple project schedules with weekly progress inputs.
• Generate schedule reports for internal management and external clients, including invoicing support.
• Adjust schedules for scope changes and analyze impacts.
• Ensure scheduling efforts comply with contract requirements and internal standards.
• Resolve conflicts and coordinate schedules with internal and external resources.

Education/Experience

• Strong communication skills across organizational levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple responsibilities.
