Description
Description The Registered Nurse (RN) , under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and with the authority from the Chief Nursing Officer, applies the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation). The RN must effectively interact with patients, their family/significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The RN will demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety related criteria for the adult and geriatric population.
Qualifications
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in State of Louisiana.
Experience in Intensive Care Unite (ICU) preferred or strong desire to work in an ICU.
BLS required prior to hire. ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days of hire.
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills. Must be able to take and give directions.
