The Registered Nurse (RN), under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and with the authority of the Chief Nursing Officer, applies the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation). The RN must effectively interact with patients, their families or signficant others and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The RN will demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety related criteria adolescent, adult and geriatric population.

The RN applies the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation) and interacts with patients, families or significant others and health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety related criteria for adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

• One year of experience as an RN in hospital Emergency nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Louisiana.
• BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
