DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Morgan City, LA. will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
- Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics
- Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality
- Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources.
- Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level.
- Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts.
- Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. QUALIFICATIONS- Keep Company credit card expenses up to date
- Keep driver license, TWIC, passport up to date
- Have all service reports and time turned in daily
- Must have appropriate hand tools in line with job description
- Non-Dot location - No DOT requirements for this position.
