Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Offshore Friction Crane Operator with 3-5 years of offshore experience operating friction cranes during platform dismantling and deck operations. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, reliable, and experienced working in demanding offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate friction cranes safely and efficiently offshore
- Perform crane operations on offshore decks and during platform dismantling
- Follow all lift plans, load charts, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with rigging crews and deck personnel
- Conduct pre-use inspections and routine equipment checks
- Operate and/or drive vehicles or machinery as required
- Maintain compliance with all client, company, and offshore safety standards
- Proven experience operating friction cranes offshore
- Proven experience working on offshore decks and platform dismantling projects
- Friction Crane
- A-Frame 4100
- Lattice Boom
- Crawler Crane
- Valid TWIC Card
- T-HUET
- PEC Card (Part of Safe Gulf)
- Safe Gulf
- API Crane Certification
- Applicable crane operator certification
- Rotation: 45 Days On / 7 Days Off
- Workdays:
Monday - Sunday (rotating schedule) - Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Ability to work extended offshore rotations
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
