Responsibilities:

• Perform medication set-up and assist residents on the Medication Program with the self‑administration of their medications.
• Must be able to set up, record and assist with medications as ordered by physicians and/or at the direction of the RN and RSD.
• Provide medication assistance documentation per policy and state requirements, including:
  • Document medication assistance on Medication Assistance Records (MARs) immediately after assistance
  • Leaves no blanks on MARs
  • Document reasons for PRN medication on the reverse of MARs and effectiveness of medication
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass all health screens such as Physical, TB, and Drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain it within the first 30 days of hire.
