The Quality Engineer will provide experienced quality assurance support to the product development team, ensure compliance in ISO 9001 auditing, manage nonconformances (RMAs, IMRRs, MRRs) resolving bugs, defects, and other issues and ensure the product meets customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist quality manager with ECN/project processing, customer complaints, QMS, document control, CAPA systems, and 3rd party audits, etc.
- Perform data analysis for nonconformance (RMAs, IMRRs, and MRRs).
- Monitor and drive First Article Process.
- Conduct RMA failure analysis and coordinate rework activities.
- Manage customer driven CAPAs.
- Backup Supplier Quality Engineer as necessary.
- Assist and develop proficiency in the management of the electronic Quality Management System software.
- Participate in MRB when applicable.
- Drive Improvements through CIT, corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure process compliance to ISO 9001.
- Assist in inspections when needed.
- Conduct product and process reviews for GAP analysis.
- Decision making backed by data and using SPC.
- Perform/drive or assist in projects and design & development related quality tasks (FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, etc.).
- Perform risk assessments and evaluate risks for changes in process to comply to ISO 9001.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Ensure non-conformances are accurately controlled, documented and dispositioned.
- Resolve technical issues and communicate them to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between departments in the organization for all improvement efforts.
- Create and improve reporting and data analysis for nonconformances (RMAs, IMRRs, and MRRs).
- Improve current first article process and monitor the entire process.
- Improve current quality processes and implement simple LEAN tools.
- Drive internal product quality and process improvement with a cross‑functional team including engineers from manufacturing, quality, R&D, and applications department.
- Own RMA failure analysis, determine the disposition of material, document the analysis and drive or initiate corrective and preventive actions internally.
- Use critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for improvement in all areas of the company.
- Exceptional communication skills coordinating with internal and external customers.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must deliver high-quality results, have outstanding communication skills, and develop relationships with multiple team members.
- Organizational skill in document control, test reports, analysis data collection, meeting minutes.
- Familiarity above average, with quality statistical equations, such as Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk and control charts.
- Above average skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to produce results from minimal instruction input.
- Familiar with risk assessment techniques/tool (FMEA, Fault Tree, What If, 8
Ds).

- Demonstrate proficiency in handling QMS, understanding of all internal processes and leading internal audits per AS9100.
- Demonstrate control in assisting new projects and design & development related quality derivatives.
- Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) or two to four years related experience and/or training in Quality; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Data analytic skills with any software such as Excel, Power
BI, other statistical software.
- Building trust with each department within the organization.

Salary Description $76,000/yr - $100,000/yr
