PRN Hospitalist Opportunity in Scenic Western North Carolina UNC Health Blue Ridge – Morganton, NC | Procedures WelcomePractice in one of the Most Affordable Places to Live according to U.S. News & World Report, and make a meaningful impact in a welcoming community. UNC Health Blue Ridge, a not-for-profit healthcare system nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine physician for a PRN Hospitalist role.
Location Highlights- Minutes off the I-40 corridor
- 1 hour from Charlotte, Boone, and Asheville
- Surrounded by mountains, lakes, and state parks
- Schedule:
7 PM – 7 AM or 7 AM – 7 PM - Support:
Full spectrum of specialty care including Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Oncology, Surgery, and more.
- Internal Medicine trained
- ABIM certified or board eligible.
- One hospital with two locations
- Wellness center and continuing care retirement community
- Active graduate medical education programs for MD and DO students.
- Pisgah National Forest and Linville Gorge (Grand Canyon of the East)
- Lake James State Park: boating, fishing, swimming, paddle-in campsites, mountain biking
- South Mountains State Park: 80-ft waterfall, 40+ miles of trails, equestrian paths, riverside campsites
