Business Manager

A motivated and detail-oriented Business Manager is sought to join our team in. This full-time, on-site role provides vital operational support to a high-performing financial advisory team. The position involves managing back-office operations to ensure a seamless client experience, requiring a strong understanding of broker/dealer and RIA operations, including account opening, asset movement, and resolving operational issues. The ideal candidate is proactive, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to take ownership of key processes and client onboarding.

• Oversee and coordinate operational workflows for brokerage and advisory accounts
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
• Manage the secure and accurate transfer of assets and securities
• Handle account paperwork, including new account setup and asset transfers
• Identify and resolve operational discrepancies in a timely manner
• Perform precise data entry and maintain accurate client records
• Facilitate new client onboarding from start to finish
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory developments
• Collaborate with internal teams and support key relationships and workflows
• Demonstrate leadership and ownership over operational processes

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Previous experience or strong interest in working within broker/dealer or RIA environments
• Familiarity with the movement of securities and assets
• Knowledge of account opening procedures for brokerage and advisory platforms
• High attention to detail and strong data entry skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a growth-oriented mindset
• Interest in obtaining a Series 7 license
• Ability to work on-site five days a week at our Morganton office

• Previous experience in financial services supporting broker/dealer or RIA operations
• Strong understanding of operational workflows related to securities and asset transfers
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting financial advisory operations-li>
• Demonstrated leadership in managing key client relationships and internal workflows
