Monday – Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm.

• UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our Digestive Health department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic patients.
• HIGHLIGHTS:
  Growing Digestive Health group;
  Working with clinic patients – Discussion of endoscopy reports and managing acute or chronic GI issues;
  Access to a broad scope of specialist within UNC Health Blue Ridge Network

• Education and Licensure Requirements
• Completion of an accredited graduate –level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.

• Professional Experience Requirements
• FNP experience preferred, will consider new grads

• Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements

• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction and care of patients
• Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
