Nurse Practitioner Blue Ridge Cardiology

Overview

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our cardiology department. This provider will collaborate with physicians in the treatment of clinic and inpatient cardiac patients. Growing Cardiology group. Access to a broad scope of specialists within UNC Health Blue Ridge Network.

• Collaborate with physicians in the treatment of clinic and inpatient cardiac patients.
• Work with inpatient and clinic patients.
• Manage and assist with inpatient cardiac patients and cardiac labs.
• Document medical records for accurate billing.

• Completion of an accredited graduate–level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.

• At least 2+ years experience as a PA in a cardiology setting.

• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients.
• Manages and assists with inpatient cardiac patients and cardiac labs.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction and care of patients.
• Documentation of medical records for accurate billing.
