DIETITIAN

Join the team as a Clinical Dietitian at Compass One Healthcare in Morganton, NC. This full‑time, salaried position is within an acute care medical center and supports clinical nutrition for a diverse patient population.

We are seeking a clinically skilled dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy, conduct patient assessments, deliver education, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will work Monday‑Friday with a rotating weekend schedule and will support the accreditation and quality assurance goals of the facility.

• Provides medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for the patient population.
• Follows all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Complies with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while maintaining confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and patient‑rights policies.
• Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide quality assurance/performance improvement initiatives.

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board in the state where required.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record and diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
