Financial Business Analyst

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst in Financial Domain. As a Consultant, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution.

You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZor Richardson, TX or Raleigh NC
  or Bridgewater, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
• Experience in Financial services with domain experience like Capital Markets, Banking, Cards & Payments, Risk, Regulatory reporting.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
• Ability to deliver results in a techno‑functional role, in an Agile environment.
• Strong experience in SQL programming.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to translate business data analysis into actionable tasks.
• Ability to author thorough, detailed, high‑quality documentation, including customer journey maps, user stories, use cases and test scripts.
• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.
• Strong in object‑oriented design principles and functional programming.
• Facilitate the gathering and elicitation of business requirements from key stakeholders and business partners focused around solving organizational challenges.
• Prioritize user stories and work expected within the Sprints for squad based on urgency, pervasiveness (the greater good) and organizational goals.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to identify risks and issues and propose improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based on Bridgewater, NJ will be Min - 76,145 to Max - 98,989.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
