Qualifications / Responsibilities

• Must be a Registered Nurse in accordance with state laws and have at least 6 months’ experience in long‑term care with at least one year as a licensed nurse.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and the laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a valid compact license.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
