American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring both L&D and mother/baby experience.
Details- Labor and Delivery unit with 16 LDRP rooms, a C-section Suite, PACU, and a 4-bed Special Care Nursery
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Closed specialty unit with no float expectations outside the Family Center
- Candidates will float within the hospital
- Unit supported by a preadmit nurse, discharge planner/case worker, maternity navigator, unit educator, and lactation consultants
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- L&D and mother/baby experience required
- Unit utilizes EPIC-integrated validated prenatal screening tools and evidence-based programs such as Eat, Sleep, Console
- Unit is actively involved in statewide and national process improvement initiatives for maternal and infant care
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Returning staff must have been separated for at least one year to be considered
- Candidates with a DUI or DWI within the past year will not be accepted; other background findings reviewed case by case
