Department Manager – McDonald’s (franchisee) – Full‑time, Associate level

This position is located at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer responsible for hiring, discipline, staffing, and scheduling;
McDonald’s USA has no involvement in employment decisions.

• Lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Manage assigned departmental systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set and communicate department goals, delegate tasks, and follow up on progress.
• Oversee service quality, sales promotions, and staff training for specific areas:
  Front Counter McCafé, Drive‑Thru, Kitchen, or People Department.
• Maintain kitchen quality and cost controls; ensure food safety and proper training for new menu items.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, and motivation of crew to meet sales and profit goals.

• Previous managerial experience preferred; ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive team player with flexible schedule and enthusiasm for a fast‑paced environment.
