What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or security-related risks.
• Adhere to all regulations and procedures related to armed security posts as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
