Department: West Virginia University School Eye Institute and the Department of Ophthalmology

Position: Uveitis Specialist (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor)

Location: Morgantown, WV

• Practice in the area of Uveitis
• Provide excellent patient care
• Involve in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for state medical license
• Completed an Ophthalmology residency and fellowship or equivalent experience in Uveitis
• Additional training in Medical Retina, Vitreoretinal, Cornea, Glaucoma, or other areas is a plus
• Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology

The WVU Eye Institute offers exposure to challenging cases and houses all ophthalmology subspecialties. It is the largest ophthalmology department in the state with a strong research program supported by multiple grants.

Future expansion includes a new 150,000 sq ft facility with numerous exam, testing, and surgical rooms, enhancing our capacity to serve patients.

Full-time, exempt position with a 40-hour workweek, primarily based in Morgantown, WV, with potential travel to other sites in WV, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
