Position: Physician | Malignant Hematology | J.W Ruby Memorial Hospital | WVU Medicine

Physician – Malignant Hematology

Position at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, part of WVU Medicine, offering ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

Location

Morgantown, WV; additional travel to West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania may be required.

Duties
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Participate in and conduct clinical trials, transplant, and CAR‑T therapy initiatives.
  • Shape program growth and contribute to academic, clinical, and translational research within a nationally recognized cancer center.
Qualifications
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for a West Virginia state medical license.
  • Completed an Internal Medicine residency and a Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
  • Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
  • Must meet all qualifications by the time of appointment.
Department

WVU Cancer Institute at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center: multidisciplinary care of leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, with access to autologous and allogeneic transplant, CAR‑T therapy, and clinical trials.

Working Hours & Status

40 hours per week, full‑time, exempt position.
