Overview
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery are seeking a Colorectal Surgeon to join our academic faculty as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The position is based primarily in Morgantown, WV, with potential assignment to additional sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
Duties- Provide comprehensive colorectal surgical care to patients, including robotic and laparoscopic procedures.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in the multidisciplinary tumor board and IBD conference.
- MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) with eligibility for a state medical license.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in general surgery.
- Completion of a colon and rectal surgery fellowship prior to appointment.
- For Associate Professor or Professor rank: demonstrated leadership, excellent communication skills, and a publication record in high‑impact journals.

Work Schedule40 hours per week; exempt.
