Overview

West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, seeks an Infectious Diseases physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to practice in Morgantown, WV. WVU Medicine is West Virginia University’s affiliated health system and the region’s leading academic medical center network.

Join WVU Medicine as an Academic Physician in the Infectious Diseases division and contribute to patient care, teaching, and scholarly activities.

• Practice in adult Infectious Diseases () with a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth clinical duties.
• Provide excellent patient care and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to the division’s education, service, and research missions.

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship.
• Board certified or board eligible in Infectious Diseases. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
