West Virginia University Health System seeks a Geriatrician to join the Section of Geriatrics, Palliative Medicine and Hospice (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV, with the possibility of providing services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Travel would be anticipated to fulfill duties at those sites when required.

• Practice in the areas of Geriatrics and provide excellent patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other WVU Medicine specialists (cardiology, oncology, neurology, pulmonary) and provide specialized geriatric consultation for frail, older adults with complex, life-threatening, or chronic conditions including dementia and delirium.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient geriatric services as part of a comprehensive geriatrics, palliative medicine and hospice program.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program, as well as Geriatrics fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in Geriatrics. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
