About the PositionWest Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry are seeking an Addiction Psychiatrist at Healthy Minds Chestnut Ridge in Morgantown, WV.
Qualifications- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility for state medical licensure
- Completed psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship
- Board certified/eligible in addiction psychiatry
- Provide expert addiction psychiatry patient care
- Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in addiction medicine and psychiatry
The WVU Medicine Center for Hope and Healing offers comprehensive services including withdrawal stabilization, residential treatment, individual and group therapy, and medication-assisted treatment. Our nationally recognized COAT program expands opioid use disorder treatment across West Virginia, utilizing a team-based approach with biological, psychological, and peer support.
The Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute’s Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry Addiction team provides inpatient and outpatient services, residential treatment, satellite clinics, and telemedicine, extending expert care into rural communities and conducting innovative research in brain disorders and addiction treatments.
