Physician- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry , Developmental​/Behavioral Pediatrics

Position Summary

Physician – Developmental Pediatrician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor)

Morgantown, WV. Travel is anticipated to West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

• Practice in developmental behavioral pediatrics and provide quality patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Provide services at other worksites such as West Virginia University Hospitals, University Health Associates, and affiliated sites.
• Develop new research initiatives or collaborate with existing programs across the developmental behavioral pediatrics spectrum.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, psychologists, neuropsychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and BCBAs for clinical services, training, and research.

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a state medical license.
• Completed a pediatrics residency program and a developmental behavioral fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in developmental behavioral pediatrics.
• All qualifications met by the time of appointment.

• Access to advanced technological resources through WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital.
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team providing direct clinical services, training, and research.
• Work within a research university recognized as a Research University I.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Exempt position.
