The School of Sport Sciences at West Virginia University invites applications for Part-Time Adjunct Faculty positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

The School of Sport Sciences houses 14 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The school values intellectual diversity and demonstrated ability to work with diverse students and colleagues. Areas of need include, but may not be limited to, classroom and online courses in coaching and performance science; health and well-being ; physical education and kinesiology; sport, exercise and performance psychology; and sport management.

Qualifications

These positions at minimum require a master’s or doctoral degree in one or more of the course content areas, as well as evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis. While these positions are not anticipated to be benefits-eligible, individual positions may become benefits-eligible based on course load - which may vary depending on departmental need.
