Description
RETTEW is looking for a talented CAD Designer 1 to join our dynamic team. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit, we want to hear from you! This is an entry-level position - recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities- Create drawings on AutoCAD for transportation projects such as roadways, highways, bridges, and tunnels
- Perform basic design tasks and manual systems drafting for traffic studies, environmental investigations, and infrastructure inspections
- Provide input for cost estimating purposes
- Request design guidance as needed
- Conduct onsite reviews and detailed inspections of transportation infrastructure
- Maintain organized project files and proper document filing
- Serve as a knowledge resource and trainer for CADD operators
- Perform QA/QC in accordance with company standards
- Graduate of a two-year technical school or associate’s degree in a related field
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Customer service oriented
