Licensed Surveyor

Overview

Triad Engineering, Inc. has an immediate need for a full-time Licensed Surveyor for our Morgantown, WV office. Professional Surveyors License Required.

• Carry out assignments and verbal instructions from Survey Practice Leader with little to no daily supervision
• Daily supervision of field crews, including Survey Crew Chief and Survey Technicians
• Assist with scheduling and coordination of field survey work
• Assist with client contact and client retention
• Business Development with new and existing clients including up-selling and cross-selling other Triad services
• Frequent and ongoing contact with contractors and professional office staff
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of survey vehicles and equipment
• Prepare field work budget
• Strive to make each project profitable
• Required to adhere to Company and other required safety practices

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technical training in surveying, including two-year associate degree or technology degree is desirable
• Experience:
  
  Four to six years of work experience with progressing responsibility and oversight for office activities including coordination, calculations, estimating, etc.
• Certifications:
  
  Professional Surveyors License Required
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Must be able to read, write, perform basic math, and be comfortable communicating with the public; must possess a valid driver s license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle; must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments; ability to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 80 pounds; work may require climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling in various conditions

Salary: $62,000 - $85,000 per year.
