• Follow corporate and site safety procedures
• Perform basic test procedures in concrete, soil and aggregate, mortar and grout, brick and block, sprayed‑on fireproofing, asphalt, and other materials
• Maintain accurate records of tests and procedures
• Calculate and report results to senior personnel for review
• Notify supervisor of problems or deviations from test procedures
• Assist staff in the field and/or QC department with materials testing as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–2 years of experience; concrete and soils laboratory experience and certifications preferred
• WACEL and/or DOT/DOH lab certifications (preferred)
• Experience performing testing in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, or DOT/DOH specifications
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Comfortable communicating with the public
• Comfortable with email, internet and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Available to work in indoor and outdoor environments

Must be capable of long‑term standing and repetitive motions. Able to use hands to handle, feel, reach, climb, balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel, and sit. Must have the ability to see and smell, including near, far, peripheral vision, depth vision and focus. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently up to 60 pounds; occasionally 80 pounds or more.
