Triad Engineering is a multi‑disciplinary consulting firm that provides geotechnical and civil engineering, landscape architecture, environmental services, land surveying, construction testing and monitoring services to a wide range of clients. - Follow corporate and site safety procedures
- Perform basic test procedures in concrete, soil and aggregate, mortar and grout, brick and block, sprayed‑on fireproofing, asphalt, and other materials
- Maintain accurate records of tests and procedures
- Calculate and report results to senior personnel for review
- Notify supervisor of problems or deviations from test procedures
- Assist staff in the field and/or QC department with materials testing as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of experience; concrete and soils laboratory experience and certifications preferred
- WACEL and/or DOT/DOH lab certifications (preferred)
- Experience performing testing in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, or DOT/DOH specifications
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Comfortable communicating with the public
- Comfortable with email, internet and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Available to work in indoor and outdoor environments
Must be capable of long‑term standing and repetitive motions. Able to use hands to handle, feel, reach, climb, balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel, and sit. Must have the ability to see and smell, including near, far, peripheral vision, depth vision and focus. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently up to 60 pounds; occasionally 80 pounds or more.
