WVU Medicine is seeking candidates for a Radiologic Technologist position, responsible for performing imaging and therapeutic services while ensuring patient care aligns with the Radiology Department’s mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an Accredited Radiography School.
- ARRT registration (or registry eligible) in Radiography.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- State criminal background check required.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures and maintain image quality.
- Minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients about procedures and support their needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and participate in performance improvements.
Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and wearing lead aprons. The position is based in Morgantown, WV, with a scheduled weekly hour of 32.
