Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Every other weekend requirement

• Work on 29-bed flex unit serving both medical-surgical and stepdown patients

• Handle nurse-to-patient ratios of 3:1 for stepdown patients or 6:1 for medical-surgical patients

• Must have Epic experience - required

• Titrate various drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbital, ketamine, and pain medication PCAs

• Work with diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses

• Operate equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, and ventilators for stepdown patients

• Remote telemetry surveillance center available - RNs not required to read their own strips

• Phillips telemetry monitoring equipment used

• First to float to other floor or stepdown units when needed

• No call or standby requirements

• Expected to work approximately half of recognized holidays

• Dress code: any combination of royal blue and white scrubs

• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)

• BSN not required

• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment, 1 shift for shorter assignments

• Unit opening in first quarter 2026

The facility operates as a comprehensive medical center offering both medical-surgical and stepdown care with advanced monitoring capabilities. The organization maintains 24/7 charge nurses and house supervisors, utilizes a remote telemetry surveillance center, and employs clinical associates to support patient care with modern equipment and Epic charting systems.
