Manufacturing Production, Operations Engineer, Quality Engineering
Follow all standard operation and business procedures, safety, environmental, and quality guidelines, plant standards, and codes of conduct. Perform safe operation of all equipment in accordance with Morgantown’s Safety Policies and Standard Procedures to ensure personal safety as well as that of co-workers. Perform housekeeping to ensure area safety and maintain audit-ready condition.
Communicate with area Leadership regarding any production, product quality, or safety issues as they arise. Participate in area and business improvement activities, quality, mechanical integrity, and environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance activities.
Safely perform lock out, tag out (LOTO) in accordance with site policy and procedure.
Demonstrated ability to drive a forklift truck.
Safely drive and spot trucks for loading and unloading of bulk tank wagons.
Engages in loading/unloading and labeling of various materials and containers.
Inspects equipment for potential and actual hazards; develop equipment troubleshooting and maintenance skills; check out equipment prior to start-up after a shutdown.
Work with SAP as necessary.
Position may also involve tasks in the management and/or handling of hazardous waste.
Must be able to pass HAZWOPPER training.
Package finished products in bags, super sacks, cartons, drums, totes, boxes, tank wagons, etc. (must be able to manually load 50lb sacks onto a skid)
Monitor filtration system and change filters.
Setup packaging for upcoming batches.
Other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills or Abilities: In order of importance, list the specific skills or abilities which a qualified individual should possess (e.g., computer literacy, subject knowledge, etc.).
Must have ability to comprehend chemical processes and operating systems.
Employees must meet respiratory protection program requirements to be eligible for consideration. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Occasional lifting, moving up to 50 lbs., and the ability to comply with Personal Protective Equipment requirements (ability to pass a fit-test and wear a respirator is required). The environment for this position is a Manufacturing setting, with exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noise.
To be considered you must: possess a valid driver's license, be 18 years of age or older, have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States, be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background investigation.
Ability to work overtime when necessary.
Ability to work a rotating continuous shift that requires nights, weekends, and holidays.
This is a Union Non-Exempt position.

HS or GED
Experience:
Industrial Manufacturing Facility preferred (0-3 years)
