Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse for our Birthing Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-risk labor and antepartum care, with proficiency in EPIC for electronic medical records and IV placement. The role includes managing patient care during labor, assisting in triage, and providing postpartum support for mothers and infants.
Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including OB and neonatology professionals, to coordinate patient care.

• Participate in unit orientation and training for new staff members.

• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP certifications are required.

• Experience in a Labor and Delivery setting with C-section experience.

• Must possess a valid nursing license.
