Job Description
Join our team as a Neuro RN, where you will be a critical member of the healthcare team in the Neuro Unit. You will care for patients with neurological conditions, including strokes, seizures, and surgical post-operative cases. Strong experience in neuroscience nursing and familiarity with Epic EMR is required.
Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to patients with neurological disorders.

• Administer medications and manage treatment plans as outlined by the attending physician.

• Document patient assessments and care in the Epic electronic health record.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS and NIHSS certifications required at the time of submission.

• ACLS certification is preferred.

• Strong experience in neurological nursing and the use of G-tubes is necessary.

• Recent experience with Epic EMR is required.

• Experience titrating medications is not required as this is conducted under physician's orders.
