Laborer II CDL

PEIA Health Insurance – PPB Plan C (high-deductible plan) is MUB funded – 0 premiums for employees (including family) and an HSA account funded by MUB to cover the deductible. There are a total of seven plans to choose from.

DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist in daily functions of distribution and maintenance departments
  • Cleans, organizes, and accounts for hand tools and equipment
  • Ability to run electric snake and perform dye testing
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of water and sewer lines
  • Perform laborer work associated with installing water, storm, and sewer lines
  • Flagging traffic and hand shoveling
  • Ability to work On Call hours established by Department head
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license along with a good driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess current CDL
• Available to work overtime and report to work after hours in response to emergencies
• Ability to work in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Class A or B CDL
• Previously held manual labor job
• Experience working withh water and sewer lines

Salary Range: Minimum rate of $20.63 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications)
