HVAC Installation Technician
Max Comfort HVAC | Morgantown, WV & Surrounding Areas
Pay: $50K - $150K / yr, depending on experience (DOE)

Max Comfort is looking for a skilled, dependable HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking someone with hands-on experience installing heating and cooling systems who takes pride in quality workmanship, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Install residential heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Assist with equipment changeouts, replacements, and new installations.
- Install and connect HVAC components, ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and electrical connections within the scope of training and applicable licensing.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, installation procedures, and applicable codes.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure proper operation, workmanship, and system performance.
- Work alongside installation team members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
- Communicate professionally with customers and explain basic system operation when needed.
- Maintain installation tools, equipment, and company vehicles as applicable.
Qualifications
- Previous residential HVAC installation experience preferred.
- Knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and HVAC installation practices.
- Ability to use HVAC tools and equipment safely.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow installation instructions, safety procedures, and applicable codes.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.
- EPA Section 608 certification preferred, particularly for work involving refrigerants.
