Our client, a well-established main dealer in Derby, is seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join their professional team. This PDI Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for qualified vehicle technicians seeking a Monday to Friday position with manufacturer training, career development, and a competitive salary package.

Duties of the PDI Technician:
  • Conduct high-quality Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles
  • Complete servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults efficiently and accurately
  • Perform visual vehicle health checks
  • Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and prepared to required standards
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and vehicle presentation
  • Work effectively within a busy Aftersales team to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Requirements of the PDI Technician:
  • Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience
  • Previous experience in PDI, vehicle preparation, servicing, or repairs advantageous
  • MOT licence preferable
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to diagnose and repair vehicle faults
  • Reliable, motivated, and a team player
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
