A prestigious and well-known accountancy brand is looking to recruit an experienced Audit Assistant Manager or Audit Manager to join its audit and assurance team in Derby.

As an Audit Assistant Manager / Audit Manager, you will work closely with senior management to deliver high-quality audit, assurance and business advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

• Managing a portfolio of audit and assurance clients and acting as a key point of contact
• Planning and completing audit assignments from initial planning through to completion
• Leading audit fieldwork and ensuring assignments are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
• Reviewing work and ensuring the overall quality of assignments
• Building strong client relationships and providing value-adding advice
• Working with colleagues to scope client requirements and deliver assignments effectively
• Managing, supporting and developing junior team members
• Setting objectives and contributing to performance reviews and staff development
• Managing deadlines, budgets and project requirements
