Business Development Manager – Commercial Cleaning Services & Hygiene Supplies

Leeds, LS27 (Field Based – Yorkshire & Surrounding Areas)*
* Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Basic + Approx. £8,000 OTE Commission

Are you a motivated, solutions‑focused sales professional with experience in commercial cleaning services, hygiene solutions, or cleaning consumables? Do you enjoy a full 360° sales role where you generate new business, manage your own accounts, and help clients improve their cleaning standards? If so, this could be the perfect fit.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to promote a range of commercial cleaning services and cleaning/hygiene consumables across the Yorkshire region.

Your offering will include:

Commercial contract cleaning
Hospitality kitchen cleaning solutions
Washroom cleaning and hygiene solutions
Periodic deep‑cleaning services
Add‑on hygiene supplies (cleaning chemicals, paper products, consumables, janitorial items)
Your clients will include:

Hospitality venues (restaurants, cafés, hotels, bars)
Care homes & healthcare environments
Shopping centres
Service stations
Education settings
Offices & corporate buildings
Leisure centres and serviced buildings
Festivals, events, and multi‑site facilities
This is a new business hunter role with strong long‑term opportunity for portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

Cold calling and proactively generating new business leads
Booking and attending your own meetings and site assessments
Selling both cleaning services and add‑on consumable products
Managing your own pipeline and territory
Full end‑to‑end account management and relationship building
Maintaining accurate CRM records
Providing tailored cleaning and hygiene solutions based on client needs
Field-based role covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas
Ideal Candidate

Experience in commercial cleaning services, hygiene solutions, or cleaning supplies is highly desirable
We will also consider candidates from related industries:

Facilities services
Waste management
Catering supplies
Office supplies
Security or FM services

Proven background in field sales and new business development
Strong communication skills with a consultative, solution‑driven approach
Self‑motivated, organised, and able to manage your own diary and workload
