We are looking for a Business Support Officer who is highly organised, detail oriented, and confident in managing data entry, record keeping, and administrative processes to a high standard. What You'll Be Doing Accurately input, maintain, and update data across council databases, spreadsheets, and corporate systems, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and up to date.

Perform data validation, data cleansing, and quality checks, identifying and resolving gaps or inaccuracies in information. Extract, collate, filter, and produce datasets, reports, and information requests for internal teams and stakeholders. Manage the team's shared inbox, responding to enquiries, coordinating actions, and ensuring communication is handled efficiently. Provide administrative support by arranging meetings, maintaining schedules, organising appointments, and supporting the smooth running of team activities.

Deliver excellent customer service when communicating with residents, partners, and stakeholders via telephone, email, post, and face-to-face interactions. Support research, correspondence, mail merges, purchasing processes, invoices, and other business support activities as required. Contribute to the effective delivery of the NRPF & Resettlement service, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and appropriately maintained. What We're Looking For Excellent data entry and data management skills, with the ability to accurately input, maintain, validate, and update information across databases, spreadsheets, and business systems.

Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and database systems, with the confidence to manipulate data, produce reports, and maintain accurate records. Excellent organisational and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, communicate professionally with a range of stakeholders, and provide a high standard of administrative support.

Experience of working with databases, spreadsheets, or administrative systems in a busy office environment. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy and quality. The ability to work independently, use your initiative, and identify practical solutions to issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a professional and confident telephone manner. The ability to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience of delivering excellent customer service and building positive working relationships with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders. Good numerical skills and the ability to present information in a clear and easy-to-understand format. Additional Information Contact Information:
