Overview
Our client, a well‑established family‑run franchised dealership in Northumberland (South), is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team.
Salary & Benefits- Basic salary up to £36,000
- OTE approximately £44,000
- No weekend work unless desired; optional Saturday overtime
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm with £500 annual tool allowance
- Access to manufacturer‑accredited training programmes
- Supportive working environment
- Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults
- Inspect vehicles for wear, tears, and general faults
- Complete work adhering to DVSA standards
- Carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required
- Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (desirable)
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Possession of own set of tools
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT licence (desirable but not essential)
