Year 5/6 Teacher Full-time - September 2026

Vision for Education are seeking a nurturing and inspirational Year 5/6 Teacher to join a well regarded primary school in the Huntingdon area for the full academic year, beginning in September 2026. This role offers a valuable opportunity to join a team of experienced and hard working teachers, supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and develop new skills.

This is a full-time, maternity cover post. The school are open to a job share for the right candidates.

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching
• Work collaboratively within the Key Stage 2 team
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Plan and deliver engaging, enriching and inclusive learning opportunities
• Build strong relationships with pupils and parents

You will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK (ECT's are wellcome to apply)
• Full enhanced DBS clearance (we can support with obtaining this if needed)
• Two referees that we can approach for references to support your recent teaching employment
• A passion for providing quality education
• Recent experience teaching within a Primary School
• Excellent communication, time keeping and organisational skills

• Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system. (Daily rate is subject to your scale rate, experience in role and qualifications which will be discussed at the point of registration)
