Northumberland County Council is seeking a Virtual School Engagement Officer to support cared for children and care leavers who have experienced disruption to their education. The role is term-time only with a fixed term until 31 March 2029, based at the Virtual School, County Hall, Morpeth.
The post works with schools, social care teams, carers and young people to raise educational standards, promote inclusion and wellbeing, and improve outcomes for care‑experienced children.
