Protocol Education is working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Morpeth that is looking for a Hair & Beauty professional to deliver practical, engaging activities to pupils who may benefit from a more hands‑on approach to learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hairdresser, beauty therapist, tutor or industry professional to take their skills into an educational environment.

Hours: Flexible / School Hours
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
- Delivering practical hair and beauty activities
- Demonstrating basic hair styling and care techniques
- Introducing pupils to skincare and beauty
- Supporting basic makeup and personal presentation
- Creating engaging, hands‑on sessions
- Encouraging creativity and self‑expression
- Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
- Building positive relationships with young people
- Supporting pupils to recognise their strengths
The aim is to use vocational and practical learning to engage pupils who may struggle within a traditional classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
