Instrument Assembly Technician

Instrument Assembly Technician Temporary role 2 Weeks Morpeth 8 hour days and weekend work required We are seeking an Assembly Technician to work in the final build out of precision chemical detection equipment. This is a short term project and it requires skills in following instructions and some delicate work in putting hardware together. We imagine someone with skills in fields like electronics, or whose hobbies are in areas like model building or the arts, and can follow hands-on processes to the letter will be skilled and able to carry out this role.

What youll do:
Precision assembly of chemical detector units, this will involve soldering components, using hand tools and magnification conducting visual inspections. Component handling. Managing small components with care, and having awareness of electrostatic discharge sensitivities. Your background:
