Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) – Sea Lodge, Morpeth, Northumberland
Band 7 | £35,412 - £39,152 (dependent on experience), 37 hours per week, Permanent.

Sea Lodge is a specialist, nurse‑led supported living service on the stunning Northumberland coastline. Rated Good by CQC, we provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to two adults with learning disabilities and complex health and behavioural needs, enabling them to live fulfilling lives in their own home.
Responsibilities- Lead shifts and provide clinical leadership within a well‑established multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver and oversee person‑centred care that promotes independence, choice and wellbeing.
- Use professional judgement to assess risk, manage complex situations and support positive outcomes.
- Coach, mentor and supervise support staff, helping them deliver exceptional care.
- Build meaningful relationships with service users, families and partner professionals.
- Contribute to care planning, service development and continuous quality improvement.
- Passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to achieve the best possible quality of life.
- Experienced working with individuals who may display behaviours of concern and have complex support needs.
- Confident decision‑maker with strong clinical and risk‑management skills.
- Effective leader who can motivate and support colleagues.
- Committed to professional development and maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice.
- Hold current RNLD registration with the NMC.
- Have post‑registration experience working within learning disability services.
- Demonstrate knowledge of person‑centred care, safeguarding, risk assessment and relevant legislation.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The full‑time position follows a rotational day shift pattern: three 12.5‑hour shifts per week from 07:45am to 08:15pm.
