Labourer, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Construction Labor ​/ Trades

Are you a reliable and hardworking labourer looking for a new role in Northumberland? We are currently seeking a labourer for a busy, high-quality new build housing development in Morpeth.

The Role:

You will play a key part in the site team, balancing general site maintenance with specific assistance for the flooring and boarding teams.

Preboarding Support:
Assisting with the preparation of floors and surfaces prior to boarding, ensuring areas are clear, level, and ready for trades.
Material Movement:
Safely transporting plasterboard, flooring materials, and timber to the correct plots.
Site Tidiness:
Ensuring that plots are swept and clear of debris both before and after trades have finished their work.
General Labouring:
Assisting various trades, unloading deliveries, and maintaining site safety standards.
Safety:
Strictly adhering to all Health & Safety protocols and wearing full PPE.

What We Are Looking For :

Previous experience assisting with floor boarding or plaster boarding prep is highly preferred.
A valid CSCS card is essential.
A proven track record of punctuality and a strong work ethic.
Must be capable of manual handling and heavy lifting.
Must have your own full Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, boots, hi-vis).
